Beirut

Beirut is still fairly young, but they've got a pedigree that indie fans will admire (Neutral Milk Hotel member Jeremy Barnes was an early member).  Their latest album, The Rip Tide, represents a shift from experiments with ethnic music to a more American pop sound.  It's very reminiscent of the Talking Heads.  This is my favorite from the new record: Beirut - Santa Fe by Revolver USA
